What Is Page Rank And How Does It Affect Your Website

It is very hard to determine how Google figures out the page rank; the formula is not released for the public. The page rank is the link popularity of the website, the more one way links that are pointing to the site the more popular the site.

A large increase in a short amount of time is not natural for page rank.  To increase your page rank in Google is not rocket science.  

Open directories are the best to boost up your ranking.    There are many a directory that will list your website for free and some require you to link back to them also.  Some internet directories will ask for a charge for instant addition.  To get your website on "its feet" you can start by submitting your website to popular directories. 

Make sure all internal links work, this is a great way to keep your visitors on your site and if all links work it will keep them coming back. Google and many other search engine do not reveal the true number of back links.  All search engines are starting not to show the links that point to a website. However, search engines give higher rankings to sites that have both kinds of links, so be sure to include some within the pages of your site.  Most sites involve reciprocal linking, and Google's getting wise to reciprocal linking strategies. 

When optimizing your title for your page make sure it is relevant to the content on your page, don't forget to include your keyword. Try to keep your title around 50-60 characters. To improve page rank the page title is another important place to integrate your keywords. Make sure that each page has a unique title, if not search engines will count this as duplicate content. 

While creating the text, you want to include the majority of the keywords at the top and the bottom of the page. You should also include the keyword in the middle of the page, make sure it looks natural.  The total web copy of your page should be about 450-550 words.  The keyword should be included approximately about 6-10% of the total amount of words on the page.

Writing articles is a great way to increase the rank of your pages in search engines.  If you think hard enough there probably is something you can write about.  You made need to do a little research, but articles will really help build your traffic and ranking.  What are the odds a website is doing what you are proclaiming the better ones must do in the next year, the same day my words are published.  If your articles are accepted, they will be included in their pages.  One of the best ways to get traffic, increase page rank and establish links is writing articles.  When people read the articles they will become potential visitors that will visit your website.
